Yahoo China 1GB Mailbox

When I first heard this from Lowyat.Net ,"Yahoo China Unveils 1Gb Email Storage" i thought it was bullshit, i decided to try it myself. But with one catch, that is Yahoo China will install a spyware - the 3271 spyware, i hated spyware, but that was'nt on my mind, the 1 Gigabyte mail box came first! I had to try it. So I headed to this Yahoo China, the link to et the 1Gb Mail box is http://cn.mail.yahoo.com/ymini/firstrun.html

I had to use IE as firefox was not supported by the "active-x" which was going to install something on ur machine, this was again something i hated! but what the heck! I had to even switched off my Zone Alarm for it to allow the spywared to be installed, its like opening my front door to maliscious ware ...

Once its done installing it will prompt you for a login, then you will be presented with the 1Gb mailbox, this is no scam i tried it, and it worked, then afterwards, you will just have to uninstall the 3271 spyware, and try running 1 or 2 anti-spyware program to get rid of any spyware traces ... well its worth it! Now i've got a 1Gb Mailbox from yahoo

But to think of it, why would Yahoo China wanna be installing spyware on your machines? weird
